Exercise on Fast Days

Is it advisable to run or workout on fast days? I am on the 5:2 diet. I don't want to waste the energy stored from meals the day before, but also don't want to burn too many calories when I am only able to consume about 440 calories on my fast days. Any insight would be appreciated.

I don't think it's a good idea to exercise beyond walking on days you choose to basically not eat (which is what 440 for a man amounts to). I shall refrain from giving my opinion on such plans.1

I think it depends on what exercise u plan to do and how it affects you. I generally did very light exercise or none at all on my fast days. I've talked to others who ran on theirs without issues. I certainly wouldn't try something too high in intensity.0
