I have a lot of weight to lose. About 98, total. My starting weight is 283, and in 18 days I've only lost 0.4 pounds.
I've gone from consuming 4000+ calories a day to 2000. I've cut out soda and sugary drinks. I've reduced my carbs. Just take a look at my diary. I've been going to the gym regularly for the past 2 weeks.
I'm losing inches! I've lost about 7 inches total from the 7 different areas I've been measuring. But I just don't understand why nothing is translating to the scale. With being so heavy, I thought the weight would have been falling off for the first week or two?

Give it time. It never easy at first. Also try watching out for salt intake because salt does suppress water weight which makes it harder for you to drop pounds.

I think I'm just aggravated because in the past I've just given up soda, and still ate like *kitten*, and would drop 10 pounds in a month. It's always been easy in the beginning before.
