Color Run 2013 in Des Moines!!

I had many friends ask me to post pictures of my most recent color run. It was a blast and encourage everyone to try it! Especially those doing their first 5k because this one takes all the terror out and replaces it with fun :) My friend Katherine ran her first 5k with me this weekend in this Color Run and she ran the ENTIRE thing. I am very proud of her and happy I was able to encourage her to have such a great experience. :) Also, this was my first race back after suffering from an achilles tendon injury that took me out from running for 2 months and I gained 5 pounds back.     That looks like so much fun. There is one near us soon but my husband would kill me if i got paint in my car and i have no other way to get there. Maybe i could cover the seats.

    The paint is actually powder and doesn't stick around very long. My car is back to its original color, but you can always cover the seats just to be safe :)

    Awesome! I actually work for The Color Run. I work with bloggers all over that help us promote our races. Thanks for sharing your pictures! It is so much fun! Great first 5k for the whole family.
