Not sure if this it tge right thread for this.
In need of advise
3 weeks ago my knee ached after running, just the normal ache nothing unusual. But then I whacked it off my desk at work and now experiencing excruciating pain when running. So taking a break for a week.
I've been taking anti inflammatory tabs, pain killers, ice packs and no idea what else I can do. I do not think it's muscle related. It's definitely bone. Any suggestions?

Hello, sorry about your knee. I would get it checked with an orthopedic doctor and then see a physical therapist. An MRI might be helpful to see what is going on inside.
I am recovering from a knee sprain, no tears. Was injured on July 13 and still cannot put full weight on it. Have been in physical therapy for 4 weeks. It has definitely helped my knee improve.
Good luck! Feel better soon.
