Calorific night!
Blinking heck....had a really good start to the day then night time came and so did the boredom and the munchies... 6 bars of choclate 2 packets of crisp 8 jaffa cakes 6 custard creams a sandwich and coke...diet coke of course lol.
Why do i do it and does anyone else? Also any good tips on how to stop the late night hunger pangs.....?

I save most of my calories for dinner/ night snacks. That way I don't go over and still enjoy my night foods.1

I have tried that but then another diet will tell you to eat more in the morning as your metabolism is faster then0

What time you eat doesn't matter. What matters is that at the end of the day you have met your daily calories given. I don't eat until around lunch time and I'm losing weight.2

I have a sweet tooth also. Have 90% organic Black & Green chocolate. It helps to keep the craving at bay.1

Meal timing doesn't matter. Do what works best for you. I can stand night hunger easier than day hunger, so I have light dinners.1

I stopped having treats in the house. A lot of times I'd eat stuff simply because I was bored and it was there to be eaten. Having to go to the store to buy the treat(s) I'm craving is usually enough to keep me from filling my face when I know I shouldn't be.
You could also stock up on low calorie alternatives to the treats you like. Instead of chips, eat popcorn; instead of ice cream, eat sorbet, that sort of thing.1 -
If you don't have it in the house, you can't start eating it all, on a whim.
We often have a tin full of biscuits, but my 12yo regularly dips his filthy hands in there, so I'm never tempted. Likewise, the kids only like walkers crisps, so they're safe enough because I'm not so keen. I might grab a pack, occasionally, but then get bored half way through.
Kettlechips are most definitely not safe, though, so I don't buy them!1 -
