Hello there, I have come back to MFP after I lost 4 stone in 2011. I had surgery in 2013 which made me pile the weight on again. I'm still 1 stone and 4llbs lighter than I was in 2011, but I've recently had back and shoulder problems which has meant I need to get strength back in my back in both. I've been back with MFP for three weeks now. I wish I'd measured my waist rather than weight because although my clothes are getting loose my weight has only lost by 3 1/2lbs, so it's not easy to track the success. But I will keep going and see what happens. I'm swimming on average between 3.2 and 3.9 miles per week. I am slowly beginning to feel a bit fitter. But I'd no idea how much of a toll the surgery had had on my fitness until I went to a physio rehabilitation centre earlier this year. I have a lot of muscle to regain in my left side, and being over 40 now doesn't help. But I know if I maintain it, it will be worth it in the end.
