Hello Everyone!

I have been using the fitbit flex for a couple of weeks now. It has my bmr at 2000 calories. I have my calorie burn goal set to 3500. I have been reaching this goal everyday now for a week. I have indeed lost the weight on the scale! My question is, am i really losing fat? I walk for 3 hours every day on my treadmill at 4 mph and this is how i am reaching my target calorie burn for the day. Am i really buring fat though or is it just water weight? Also i am not eating. :) I am not hungry and figure i am living off my stored fat. I have energy for my fast walks and work. Am i really losing weight?

If you are not eating, you are losing lean body mass. When your body does not get the food it needs to survive, the first place your body feeds off of is your muscle. You need to be eating every day! Starvation will lead you to illness and possibly death if done for too long.

once you start eating again you will regain all of the weight you lost. good luck with that.
