Confuse mfp recommendation?

Hi all
I've been doing well with mfp. Lost 30lbs so far, still losing 2lb a week but because my weight has dropped mfp has changed my calories allowance to 1250 previously on 1310 which is a hard Enough allowance, I'm not sure if to eat the new allowance or not, seems very low for me, I want to keep with the 2lb a week losses because I still have over 65lbs to lose!
Im 5ft 9" and currently Weigh 16st 9.5lb female, I've set my activity to sedentary (walk dog every day but only for 20 mins slowly)
Should I just override to 1310 or will it hinder my losses? Now I'm a lower Weight?
Sorry for rambling but I've never lever done so well before and I'm scared of screwing up! X

Go with the new calories. As you lose, your body needs fewer calories to maintain its weight, therefore you would need to reduce your calories to keep the deficit the same. If you feel it's too low, you can either up your activity level or lower the deficit to 1.5 pounds a week.2

Hi, provided you are healthy, and log correctly, you should be able to lose 2 pounds per week eating 1400 calories per day, at your weight (if that's 234 pounds?).1

I found a calorie amount that worked for me and then stuck to that. Yes, the weight loss rate does get slower over time since the deficit decreases. However, I'm much happier with a workable calorie goal. Weight loss is a marathon, not a sprint, so those extra weeks/months to lose the weight won't make much difference.1

Its a 60 calorie difference, 420 less calories to eat a week. You can do what you like here, perhaps stay with the 1310 a little longer and see if your rate of loss is slowed down, or perhaps jump right on in and do the 1250.
You can easily offset this a bit by moving a wee bit more allowing you stay right where you are and continue on.0 -
Thanks for all your replies. I'm going tongs with the new amount! I know it's not much difference , but every kcal counts0

Personally, I'd stay at 1310 and add a half hour wallk but that's me. I'd have to sit down and do the math but dollars to donuts, it probably looks something like a week longer to reach your goal if you don't go down the 60 calories per day...what will the psychological ramifications of going down to 1250 be? Will it cause compliance issues?
Good luck with whatever you choose!0
