Best way to drop inches?

I have noticed that I'm losing about 1/2 inch off my waist every 30 days for the most part. I set a 1 inch goal at the beginning of last month, but can't seem to do it.
Does anyone lose more? How much should you lose in inches every 30 days? How are you guys doing it? Help!!!!

    Generally, you need to lose fat to lose inches. I've lost anywhere from 0 to nearly 2 inches in a little over 30 days. Half an inch, is pretty good! Fat will come off different places in your body, maybe even different places at once. Which COULD mean only a small measurement lost at a time.

    Inches comes off when you drop body fat. This really can't be calculated in one area every time as you lose fat however your body and genetics handle losing fat for you in particular and not the same for everyone. I recommend doing all over body measurements and start trending fat loss that way instead of the waist.
