I've been thinking about getting a personal trainer, but I don't know if I can afford it, or where to even start looking for one.
I've finally got my thyroid meds figured out, but now I have 40-50 lbs to lose to get back to my ideal weight. I've tried doing it on my own, but I feel lost and unmotivated.
What does a decent Personal Trainer cost? Where should I look for one? What questions should I ask before hiring someone? ...any other advice?

A local gym would be a good place to start. Either trainers who work out of the gym or recommendations from the operators/ patrons.0
