Nipple Piercings

I woke up with a little bit of pain and bleeding on my left nipple, bleeding on just one side. I also noticed that a string was there too. I'm not sure if it was skin string or any other string , I tried pulling it out but it stuck. What could it be and how can I remove it?

If you pull the string your boob will deflate...leave it alone
