Anyone else?

Does anyone else have to be seriously perfect with your food to lose weight? If I eat even even a tiny bit above 1200 calories I don't lose weight and sometimes gain. I'm so bummed. It's been about a month and I've lost 5 pounds, and no weight has moved for a week yet I'm still working out daily. Begh. I'm trying not to give up!!

Weight loss unfortunately isn't linear. Water weight has quite a bit of play in that.
Look at the whoosh effect.

As said definitely look at strength, aerobic type exercise. And maybe some HIIT. Make sure you always push harder every time you exercise. The last bit is always the hardest to shift!0

Be resilient! I've been on 1200 cal diet religiously for one month with no exercise due to back pain and lost 5.8 lbs but I suggest measurements bc you might be surprised.0

How are you determining how many calories you are eating? If you are not weighing ALL food with a food scale, you are likely eating more than you think.
Unless you have a medication condition, really really short or underweight, you are not gaining on 1200 calories a day, your logging is off somewhere.0
