Hi,
I'm from cologne/germany
I reached my goal-weight in February doing Keto (20g carbs a day low carb)
and maintained it for 6 months eating mostly "normal" again.
I lost those 70lbs in 8 months.
And I just wanted to share my experience with you guys/gals.
1. If you are doing extreme lowcarb(keto/south beach) DO YOUR RESEARCH! If you just stop eating carbs and wonder why you feel terrible you are doing it wrong! (Nutrition is EVERYTHING)
2. Keto Is not a diet it is a complete change of your metabolism
So see a doctor at least twice a month to check your bloodlevels and get nutrition advice,drink water lik a camel, and watch your magnesium/potassium/watch those electrolytes!

I started at 110kg and lost my first 20lbs. Without MFP so MFP will just show you 55lbs in my stats, Just in case you're wondering.
