Beyond frustrated this morning! Weight has not changed in 3 weeks. It's just really frustrating when I feel like I'm working hard and the weight isn't coming off. I did join a challenge on Instagram of 30 minutes of activity for 30 days. So hopefully that will help. Btw...I assumed MFP automatically updated calorie intake when you lose weight? I was set at 1810 calories. I updated my goals this morning, thought about lowering my intake, which seriously bummed me out. I changed it to lose 1.5 pounds a week and that gave me 1550. I thought about it and changed it back to lose 1 pound a week, which is what I had it on before at 1810, but now it has me at 1770. Not a big deal just confused about the change in number. I'm like "No wonder!! I was probably having more than I needed!"

Hi First of all, manage your expectations.
You did not aquire all the extra body weight in 3 weeks.
You do not mention what is your present body weight. If you have less than 30 pounds to lose, I will recommend to use the MFP target "Lose 0.5 lbs per week".
The change in number is due to the change of weight change per week, that is all
My personal advice: Slow and steady wins the race.

A 40 calorie difference wouldn't cause it. Most likely it's due to inaccurate logging. How are you measuring your intake?

One of the most frustrating things about this site, if you ask me.
You're not the first to be caught out by it.
