It's down the hall there, third door on the right. Flush when you're done and please put the seat back down. You're welcome.6

Please back up that statement with 3 quotes from reputable sources (not youtube please). I saw on a talk show that cats are nicer and I had a cat who was certainly nicer than any dog. Professionals please feel free to weigh in.5 -

Eat less, move more.
Log your food here in the food tab and learn from your food diary.
Walk 30 minutes a day. Ta Da.2 -

Start by just logging your food intake for a week or two. That will get you used to logging and give you some data about what you are eating. After a couple weeks, look back through your log to see where you might eat smaller portions or substitute calorie-dense foods that you like with other foods that you also like.
As for exercise, do something that you like. Weight loss is mostly about controlling your calorie intake so that you are at a deficit. Exercise is for fitness.1 -

I have a bad knee... then what exercise would someone recommend...?????.... the doctors r useless here.. lol0

Did you setup your account with stats and number of pounds to lose weekly? Start there. Then read all the stickies at the beginning of forums. Heck while you reading have a snack and log it. Might want to order you a food scale (recommended, HIGHLY).. If you want, go for a walk, maybe do a push up or two... LOL
Its really not hard, and there is no magic system in place, once you do this for one week you are well on your way and what seems a scary thing to do, becomes second nature.1 -

You got several good answers in your other thread you started asking the same question: http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10453041/suitable-exercise#latest1 -
Set up myfitnesspal to lose 1lb per week.
Eat at that calorie intake.
$$$
Profit/weight loss.
You don't need to exercise for weight loss. Just weigh all the food that you eat (except liquids) on a food scale, and log them. Do this for at least a month.callsitlikeiseeit wrote: »42

OP in the other thread it says "winter is coming and you can't bear this weight any longer". Why the hurry?
I think a "second opinion" is warranted on the knee problem as I am sure there is more than one doctor that can run some scans and tests on your knee? Tell them it really hurts. LOL
But aside from knee problems, if you just eat less food you will lose weight. It's not rocket science and I promise you do not have to lift one finger to exercise to lose weight.3 -

Read the sticky posts at the top of each MFP forum. Lots of good advice there.
Quick, someone post the flow chart!2 -

Lift, eat less, and find some cardio you can do, be it swimming, rowing, or throwing a ball with your kid (or your friends).1

You have to start somewhere. Focusing on "can't" will get you nowhere.3 -

Exercise if you like to exercise, but the point is that it's 100% not necessary to weight loss.
What happens when one cannot exercise and they want to lose weight? They eat less that what they were maintaining on.1 -

There are peer reviewed studies that support Allumunati's claim, as well as support my claim that cats are generally nice than dogs. Here you go....
Peer reviewed study on dog being [better pets than cats/url]
Peer reviwed study as on cats being better pets than dogs0 -
