Getting Back to Goals

About a year and a half ago I signed up here, set my goals and made some pretty decent progress between healthy nutrition and workouts. Not long after, though, I was sidetracked when my job placed me on the evening-night shift.

I'm a natural morning person. I get up, go to work, then I use the rest of the day to do whatever else I need. As hard as I tried I could never adjust to doing it the other way around and ended up spending my waking hours between 2 to 7 am. It became a hassle to exercise very regularly, let alone make it to the gym on my hours. I attempted to maintain a healthy diet but convenience outweighed nutrition more often than I care to admit.

Now I'm back to the morning shift from this week on and I plan to get back into the swing of things. Slowly at first, of course. I'd like to say that I have at least maintained my fitness level for the duration, but I'm sure the first few gym sessions will prove to me otherwise.

tl;dr was working out, work stopped me, now I'm back. Hooray.
