No Motivation?

Feeling unmotivated?....Well, here's a point to ponder.
I'm really proud of myself today. Why? I REALLY didn't want to exercise (I was feeling AWFUL and lazy) BUT, I thought about it for a moment and realized that I didn't come this far to give up. I didn't come this far to phone it in. I didn't start this lifestyle to give up simply because "I don't want to do it" ...If I gave up every time I got tired of doing something(or just didn't want to do it), I wouldn't get anywhere. And neither will you. I'd still be 263 lbs, pushing adolescent diabetes, with high blood pressure and chronic back pain if I didn't push myself. Don't EVER give up. Stop telling yourself all the BS stories as to why you CAN'T do it and start telling yourself all the reasons you CAN and SHOULD.
You are the only thing standing between yourself and your goals. It's mind over matter. You will suck at it at first, you will stumble, you might feel like you're in it alone (and you're not.), you'll want to give up. KEEP GOING. If you continue to cheat yourself, you will continue to be unhealthy.. It doesn't matter if you have to start out at the bottom, most people do, we all have to start out somewhere. YOU have to want it for YOURSELF. No one else can do it for you. No one else can want it for you.
Even if you have to modify every single move you do, If you're going at "turtle pace" in the beginning, you WILL get better. "Change or remain the same."
"Even if you think you're going at turtle pace, if you have to modify, if you fall, GET BACK UP. You're lapping everyone on the couch."
So GET OFF YOUR BUTT and do something productive! Have an amazing day and keep kicking butt, especially your OWN.

Great job! Sometimes I don't want to move but, you're right, if you just get up and do it, it makes all the difference in the world! Thank you for the reminder!0

I knew this would be a great thread. I was thinking after my daughter and I went shopping hey I earned enough calories to slack. It wouldn't hurt my goals to not go and work out. It really wouldn't I am not just saying that. But, I need to start making going to the gym a habit and the longer we go not going the easier it is to make excuses like I already walked my dog today or I already was shopping for a couple of hours or whatever that really does burn calories. Those weights aren't going to lift themselves and the treadmill is just sad when it's not in use.0
