What are Paleo, Macros and Micros?

Can someone explain what Paleo, Macros and Micros mean?
I have seen them mentioned but not sure what they are and they importance.

Paleo is a diet plan based on the Paleolithic Era. A lot of unprocessed foods, no dairy, no grains, etc.
Macros are your carbs, fats, and proteins, as listed on all food labels, at least in the US.
Micros are your micronutrients. Vitamins and minerals, mostly, but also specific carbs such as sugar and fiber as well as specific cats such as cholesterol and monounsaturated.0 -
