I have been struggling my entire life with weight. I have always considered myself a human yo-yo whereupon I would lose 50-60 pounds only to gain it back the following year
I am a 66-year-old woman who went to the doctor three years ago where he called me "a walking timebomb". My blood pressure, my cholesterol, as well as my sugar was way beyond borderline. Tears saying to my eyes and explain to him that I lived on carbohydrates and I did not know had to change.
I proceeded to attend a nutritionist weighing in at 267 pounds whereupon I received 1200 cal a day diet eating six small meals a day. I went to my apps looking for a caloric counter and fell upon this app. I started posting daily all of my food that I consumed and shortly after that started to get into a mode that it was part of my every day life. I took recipes from the app, I started to walk thanks to the app and although it is taken three years I am very proud to say that I have lost over 110 pounds.
I don't even believe that it was a struggle thanks to fitness pal it has become a way of my life. I once again feel like I'm 40 years old and have done things that my children are concerned about like zip lining and skydiving. What I have learned is that weight is not a number it is a concern but age is just the way you feel. What do you advise people starting off is to put every single thing you consume into fitness pal, be diligent and watch the weight come off. I still use my fitness pal every single day I can't imagine my life without it I will never have weight issues again![hezjm5w7dcxo.jpeg](https://us.v-cdn.net/5021879/uploads/editor/jm/hezjm5w7dcxo.jpeg)
