Fitbit Tracking

Good Morning,
I've discovered that sometimes my fitbit doesn't track property. For example if I wear it on my non-dominant arm and am doing a lot of reaching, grabbing, phones, etc it tracks and if I'm on the treadmill or stair climber it doesn't track unless I'm swinging my arm in some way, Now, I put it in my pocket and that way it only tracks the movements as I walk or step, I did over 10,000 steps yesterday...for some I know not a big deal, but it was my FIRST!!!
