I'm just starting out and I need to buy a good food scale. Any suggestions, brands?
Thanks in advance!

Any scale is good as long as it's digital, has a tare/zero button, and allows you to weigh in both grams and ounces.
This is the one I use currently: https://amazon.com/gp/product/B01609SMS6/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. I've had two Taylor brand ones in the past but they broke on me.1 -
Thank you so much! I'm going to order this one0

I'm guessing it can weigh liquids and does not calculate the weight of a bowl with contents?0

The liquid measurements aren't accurate unless you're weighing water, where 1 ml=1 g. As for the bowl, that's why the tare button is important. It'll zero the weight out so you can put something else in there and not have to subtract the previous weight.0
