Longtime lurker

Hi! I'm a 42 year old married mom of 3, grandmother to 1. Starting weight was 354, current weight is 191, goal weight is 177...half the woman I was.

I started logging everything I eat, making good choices and walk, Walk, WALKED away the pounds. Recently started incorporating weight training and will be fitting cardio and yoga in with the cooler temps heading our way.

Besides the obvious plus of weight loss, I am no longer on any medications (pain meds for a heel spur and antidepressants), no longer fall asleep after work in the mid-afternoon, and have the energy I need to spend with my 12 year old son still at home and with my grandson.

I have a family history of congestive heart failure, kidney disease, and diabetes. Though I've never had those diagnosis (and besides the depression and number on the scale, looked pretty healthy on paper) I do NOT want to be my mother and am taking the initiative.

I'm 42 as well and a mother of 2! I've also been "lurking ", starting over a year ago. Started at 224 and made it down to 179. Then came summer and my Mom got sick and I jumped up to 206 in a matter of months. In two weeks back in and feel similar to you...

    We can do this!!!!
