So my husband made pulled pork in our crockpot. And then he used the leftover liquid as a base for soup. I want to put it in as a recipe, but I have no idea how. What do I call that ingredient?

Ah, see, I was thinking "stock" and the entries I got looked like they were boullion cubes or powder. YAY! Now I have it in my recipes

My husband cooks all the time, on those days my food logging is probably way off at dinner time
I'm shooed out of the kitchen and am not allowed to look or help, so it's a total guessing game. I so blame him when i'm not losing weight

I haven't yet gotten him trained to weigh everything and then also weigh the final product. But it gives me time to exercise so I just give it my best guess and move on!0

I have that same problem. Because I'm the only one eating my cooking, I usually count the calories in the meat, and don't try to account for any calories in the broth. After all, I've already accounted for them once (as part of the meat I cooked), and I only ate them once (in the soup). If the two of you are eating proportional servings of the pulled pork and the soup, you could try that approach.
Alternatively, you could estimate the calories in the pork broth using a regular database entry. Subtract those calories from the pulled pork and add them to the soup.1
