Well done!
You want to lose 18 more pounds? Where's it going to come from? I think you look perfect!
What's your lifting program?0 -

What's your lifting program?
I train each body-part in rotation 7 days per week. To be more specific.. back day, bicep day, chest day, tricep day, shoulder & delts day, leg day...then repeat. Each body part is trained for an hour and a half, then I do 300 calories of cardio after the workout...... so I'm in the gym for 2 hours every single day 7 days per week. Also I don't lift any free weights whatsoever I only use machines. That's my personal preference. I find that machines are better for overall muscle development in terms of Aesthetics. Even though I recognize it's not optimal in terms of strength and stabilizer muscles. But I'm willing to take the loss on that.0 -

No, my program is awesome.....and I was asked so I answered. I never said you had to do it. Nevertheless its better than suffering from depression being faced with diabetes and high blood pressure and basically killing myself......So guess what, if this is what you call whack I choose whack over your program that nobody asked you about.5 -

Your dietary changes and commitment to losing weight are clearly strong
But your programme is lacking and you are offering to motivate others which begs the question how? You can't give them your adherence or determination and you certainly shouldn't be recommending any exercise programme if long hours in the gym, isolation exercises machine based exercise with no rest days is your idea of awesome

You're spending as much time on your biceps as you're spending on the 50% of your body that your lower body makes up. Let that go through your mind.1 -
Current weight? Do you have any excess skin when not flexing?0

The man said he's going for aesthetics and already acknowledged that his routine isn't the best but he likes it; he also looks better than 90% of the pictures people post on this site. Let that go through your mind.8 -

My goals & personal preference determine which exercises are optimal for me. There's no one size fits all to fitness...isolation, compound, push pull legs, bro splits, supersets, drop sets etc. The idea is doing what works for you....Hell, Dorian Yates did only 1 working set for bodyparts after pre exhaustion...and who is to tell him he is wrong. 1.5 hours of weight training is pretty typical. Actually I don't know anybody that trains serious and under 1hour. The people i follow like Chris Jones, Ronnie Coleman, Jay Cutler, Christian Guzman always train for 90 minutes......I would motivate others by letting them know exactly the opposite of what typical people like you belive. I would let them know that they can build a great physique while finding a different approach to fitness & nutrition. Just because some article on the Internet say something doesnt mean it is bible.6 -
People on Myfitnesspal are so catty. The man isn't wrong to train the way he does. He rest each muscle group while training another. That's legit. He probably deloads to give his CNS a break occasionally.7

He called it awesome. It's not. Again, he's doing 50% of his body on one day and the other 50% split up over 6 days. That's just bad, for aesthetics or otherwise and not legit in the slightest. Your biceps does neither need 1.5 hours of training, nor 6 days of rest.1 -

It's awesome for him, which he only stated in response to someone trying to nag him about said program which the thread is not about.
Again, whether you believe it's awesome or not, he has markedly better results than 90% of the people who post on here who follow the tried and true SS/SL/PHUL/PPL/531/TM/UL/memer3000... So you guys can rip on his program all that you want, but it's pretty pointless.8 -

The pictures clearly show the way he trains works for him. It may not be for everybody. It is not 'bad' for aesthetics. There is nothing wrong with what he is doing. Dude your program is not 'whack'. The results clearly speak for themselves. Congratulations. Watch someone get mad and flag my comment. Lol.5 -

I have to agree. People here just love jumping all over someone if they aren't subscribing to the same thought the majority has. If they can't find something to crap on they aren't happy. You're really going to criticize the method he used to get where he is? Really?????

Maybe your biceps jk lol. I'll admit I believe in training a lot differently, but to each his own. My arm days are usually Bicep-Tricep in one.0 -

You can disagree with that all you like, as it's anecdotal all around. Most of the programs on here that get pushed by the masses are not for aesthetics which is clearly all OP cares about.
If he would have posted the same pictures and stated he used SS -> TM with some accessory work you guys would have high fived him all day. Because he didn't his results are being invalidated by the majority who haven't achieved them (save yourself)? lol, you guys are just hassling him to be in the majority consensus like most regulars on MFP. His progress is solid regardless of his training efficiency, and your pointing that out contributes 0 to the initial intent of the thread.8 -
I think what the OP has achieved is awesome and by extension the program he used to achieve it is awesome FOR HIM too.
Will the program work for anyone else? Who knows? Doesn't matter if it does or not because, as far as I've seen, the OP wasn't pushing it on anyone else. All that matters is that it works for him.
OP just started the thread because he said that he was open to accepting "friends" looking for motivation from him but I doubt he'll find any takers because his program and success puts most (if not all) of us to shame.
Congrats and continued good luck & progress to you, OP!3 -

Still not seeing what's wrong with his "little bubble". He achieved the aesthetic he wanted his way. He looks great, but according to the masses....he got there the wrong way. ??????

Each to their own I guess, but probably my burning question/s are: Do you think you will be able to sustain this regime for the rest of your life? spending minimum 14 hours a week in the gym would start getting monotonous after a while (unless you are going to compete or become a PT or have some other goal in mind?)
I also peeked at your Diary and you eat a lot of junk food e.g KFC. Again, do you not think it's important to fuel your body with the right nutrition especially with such a punishing routine that you have. I am genuinely curious and not trying to sound nasty but I guess it does come across like that (not my intention).1 -
Wow - this is INCREDIBLE progress!0
-
I agree with LazSommer - a bunch of haters in this thread.
He didn't even start it to try to push his program on anyone - someone specifically ASKED, and then you all give him *kitten* for it despite his obvious hard work and amazing results. Pathetic.1 -

I can be motivated by someone who has different goals than I do, and has chosen a different path up the mountain.
I think all the "looking for someone my exact age & height & weight" threads are silly, and I bet you do as well1 -
I think the approach of some responses could be better in the thread but the concerns valid. It's always hard to read tone. I guess my concern would be imbalances that become a total nightmare to correct and they tend to not show themselves until they reach nightmare point. I speak from a place of experience on that with childhood poor practice (through 80s ignorance mostly) giving me issues now that I will possibly never be able to correct.
But physically, aesthetically, there's no denying the results look great. Wouldn't and isn't my approach but it's a massive achievement regardless.1
