My biggest issues are coming up with healthy affordable shopping lists and coming up with quick and easy meals. I have a lot of medical problems so it is hard for me to cook. Does anyone have any suggestions. I wish there was an app or something that could make shopping lists and help find easy meals that are affordable.

Do any of your medical problems cause restrictions on your diet (gluten free, low carb, low sugar, low fat...anything like that)?

I use sparkrecipes (https://recipes.sparkpeople.com/home.asp) for my recipes. You can search the recipes based on what your dietary needs are.

I use my crockpot alot which is the most awesome thing ever since I pretty much just put all the ingredients in and it does the rest for me.

Quick, easy and "healthy" are ruining people's health :s Eating well means that you have to (but you will also be willing to) spend some time and effort on cooking and eating. Not necessarily a lot of work, but awareness. Easy, as in aiming for a shortcut, can mean cutting yourself short, but it can also mean simple, and there is nothing wrong with a simple, but balanced meal. Any combination of a protein, a starch and a vegetable is an acceptable dinner. Elaborate dishes and "health foods" are not necessary, and they often make people feel like failures when they can't stick to it, for the price, the lack of taste, or the workload.

What kind of medical problems do you have? Do they restrict what you can eat?

You are probably starting in the wrong end if you are looking for shopping lists. You are supposed to start with what you are going to eat and make. What do you want? Ask yourself what you like. Then look at what you already have in your cabinets, fridge and freezer. The remaining ingredients will be your shopping list. If you base your shopping on simple, ordinary, single food items, and you cook it yourself, and you eat appropriate amounts, it will be cheap and healthy.
