Free Park Gyms

So I have noticed that many of my local parks have installed outside gyms and I thought I would share the idea here, especially great for anyone on a budget, as they are completely free to use.

They have a website tgogc.com/ and you can find your closest park with a gym. Im based in UK but the site looks like there are also park gyms in Portugal, France and Australia.

All the equipment has instructions printed on them on how to use it and there are also QR Barcodes you can scan with your mobile which link to instructional videos.

Would be great to hear from anyone who has used these park gyms and how they got on.

They just built one in my area (I'm in Michigan) but I haven't checked it out yet. It looks pretty neat and I probably should check it out before the weather gets yucky.

I have a cousin who goes to the park about once a week and uses the playground equipment as a way to switch things up a bit.

I haven't used one but I know we have a few here in Vegas. I have during boot camps used the playground equipment, stairs, benches, walls, hills, etc. You can get pretty creative even without designated equipment.
