Fitbit question

My Fitbit automatically recognizes exercises and logs it in the Fitbit app. Also when I log an exercise on here it shows in my Fitbit app.

So it detected my workouts this morning and they're logged ok on here, but twice on Fitbit.

Is there a way to fix this or should I just turn off the auto exercise option?

I just let my Fitbit take in the burn info and don't log exercise here. I'm also not the strictest person for my calories here because I go by my FitBit's TDEE each day, depending how hungry I am, eating whatever deficit I choose.

So anyway, I don't log my exercise here because it throws my TDEE off, just use this to know how much I'm eating. It's working, I'm not hungry and I've been losing. Just not at a rapid pace. I feel as though this is the more sustainable way for me, not killing myself to be low every day and get to a goal and go crazy.

Anndd there's my long rant for the day I guess.

I let my Fitbit detect my exercise.
OR if I need to manually enter one- i enter it on Fitbit only.

Fitbit then tells MFP the calories ive earned from my exercise/daily burn etc and gives me X amount of calories earned by exercise in MFP diary.
(Info comes from Fitbit since they are synced)

I would not wear and sync a Fitbit AND log exercise in MFP.

Once I synced my accounts, I stopped logging exercise on MFP. Since the details are coming over to my MFP account from Fitbit, there is no real reason to log it here.

Usually I just log my exercise on the fitbit app, when I do want to record it here i change the calories burned to '1' so that I'm not double dipping.
