Starting my first cut 250 cals or 500 deficit?

So I did my first bulk and gained about 10 pounds, now ready to do my cut. I don't want to lose the muscle mass I gained, so what is the maximum amount of deficit I should maintain?

    either is fine. lower deficit is safer but eat right and work hard and you're fine with either

    I'd start with 250 and work into 500 over two weeks and adjust from there.

    259. Start off nice and slow, preserve that strength and muscle mass. There's no rush.
