I know that Apples tend to have a major issue with the abdominal and hip area when losing weight. Does anyone have any photos of before and after? I need motivation! :)

Hey, I'm not sure if you've seen this by now, but here is a previous thread on this topic that received a GANG of responses -- good before/after pics -- if you're interested: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/779683--apple-shaped-women-before-afters?hl=apple+before+after.

The body types that have been debunked are the '*morphs'.

Apple, pear, etc are simplified descriptors for the genetic predisposition of fat deposits.
I haven't heard that this is debunked, am willing to be corrected though.

I have posted these elsewhere but as I am an apple I will post them here.
Keep in mind you can get much better results- I am quite old >:)

It is a 30 lbs difference from the left to the right picture.
Start weight 130 at 5'1, to maintenance of 100-105.

This one is all at maintenance. The difference over the 3 years is getting more serious about resistance training then weight lifting. Still working on it.
