Pre-diabetes help needed

I have recently been diagnosed with pre-diabetes and have to loose weight like yesterday. I'm needing go diabetic friendly receipts. Any help is greatly appreciated

    Did your doctor give you any nutritional guidelines? If all you were told is you need to lose weight, then eating the right amount of calories is more important than what you are eating. Plug your stats into mfp, get a calorie goal, and start logging everything to see how your current diet stacks up. Then start tweaking your diet, finding where you are wasting calories, so you can hit your calorie goal and start losing those excess lbs!

    You can also ask for a referral to a registered dietitian if you want guidance specific to your medical condition. Lots of people have "theories" about how you are supposed to eat to avoid diabetes and you will probably get some differing opinions here. Good luck!
