Question For while exercising

i was just wondering if anyone uses the waist trimming belts that they sale in the store that goes around your waits that helps you do two things 1 is hold in your tummy while working out and the second is helps you sweat more. I own some and was wondering if i should ware them while working out to help burn more in my waist area? do they help?

If it's to keep your tummy from jiggling, I suppose. If it's to sweat more in the attempt to lose fat off your tummy... no, no, no and no.

The belt? nah, save your money. It won't 'burn more' around the middle. It's a gimmick.

imho - focus on diet (90% of the battle) and then strength training; cardio comes in a distant 3rd

    best of luck

Doesn't do anything for weight loss either, except to make your wallet a little bit lighter.

they won't do anything other than help you lose WATER. My guess is you want to lose FAT?

In addition, by "holding it all in" you are shooting yourself in the foot, because it inhibits core stabilization. In other words, you are weakening your core.

Suggestion? Rub yourself with some albolene if you must, but for god's sake engage your core while working out!

Save your money because they do not work. First, you only lose water weight. If you drink water, it will come back. Second, the waist trainer will disengage your abdominal muscles from working. Last but not least, you will feel overheated. The money and the pain associated with a cinched waist is not worth it. Do not fall into the fad of waist trainer. Dieting and exercising is the only key. There are no shortcuts.

They'll likely do a lot make harm than good. Weak core muscles are never a good thing. Listen to the poster above and ditch the belt.

Rather than doing good and helping they do harm and hurt by weakening your core

    Ditch them immediately
