Heeeyyyyy :)

I'm here to accomplish my weight loss goal of 75 pounds lost. I've been overweight/obese since around 8 years old. To be honest, my end goal is not be thin. It's to be less fat, more comfortable, active, and smarter about my eating choices, for the most part. At the same time, body positivity and acceptance are extremely important to me, and kind of shape the way I think about and move through weight loss these days. I'm looking at this as exploring new things. I have a Zumba buddy, I'm eyeing this hiking group in my city, and I have friends who want to go salsa dancing. I want to get really into pilates and yoga, via some great videos on YouTube. I'm actually the person who watches the workout videos, while eating a snack and saying, "She really knows her *kitten*!" Now, we do the workout with the video! Lol

Living and working in cities with great food, while having an active social life, may be just as big of a challenge for me as working out. But I'm down.
