I did a diet years ago called LA Weight Loss. It is a food exchange program pretty much the same as 21df without the containers.
I lost a TON of weight on it but it is restrictive just like 21df which makes it hard to stick to sometimes.
Just wanted to get some opinions on what you felt worked best for you.
There is just plain old calorie counting as well... It's just all so confusing which plan to choose... UGH!!! HELP!!!

I have personally done 21 Day Fix. I didn't follow the meal plan but I try to eat in between the calorie brackets the workbook has. I have lost 40 pounds doing that. I found the meal plan to be too restrictive.1

I would personally do the workouts and count calories. Get a digital food scale and weigh out your portions. Plus those containers aren't that feasible IMO. There's too much room for error when it comes to high calorie foods like oils and peanut butter.1

Calorie counting without any special rules or food plans has contributed to fix my disordered relationship with food. So I would definitely pick calorie counting of those three. Now you have found MFP (this site). I suggest using MFP. It's easy and effective when you do it right: Weigh your food and log accurately and hit your calorie goal every day - no cheating, no forgetting, no giving up. That's all it takes to lose weight - simple, but not always easy. If you pay attention to portion sizes, food choices and how you respond to them, you can also get in better eating habits, which is important if you want to keep the weight off permanently.0
