I don't usually care about these kinda things but I'm diggin' it.
Makes me actually want to use my calendar and I enjoy the MFP widget.

Haha, I'm not a hater, I just know I had iPhone and switched to Android once and was nothing but issues. Once I went back to iPhone, none whatsoever. I do know people that have reservations about it, I'm just a real simple user though. Don't need all kinds of add-ons and custom things.2

I dislike having to use iTunes for anything.0

Has it been released publicly?
I installed last night. Bit laggy at first but I have little storage. The only thing I'm not crazy about is it has more animation for I feel no reason-- slowing it a bit. And the home screen notifications are way bulkier but smaller text. Taking more room.0 -

Did the beta and yes, it is available publicly as of this week. Go to Settings>General and you should see the software update.
I like it. I find it a bit more responsive for all my iPhones (6's and 6S+'s). First thing I like is dumping native apps I can't get rid of. That is kinda a big deal for Apple who likes to control certain apps. Like the custom widget stuff though I don't use my iPhone as such. Most other niche features and nuances are nice too. There are big changes to messages, but I won't use a quarter of all that animation, emoji, etc stuff.
Like they are allowing apps to shoot RAW photos though.
Actually, it has been rock solid for me even through beta, but again I have newer phones. Never tried to load it on my 5S or 4S.0 -

I did find it a big stretch for Apple to add all of those messaging features. It's very cluttered and I will probably rarely use them. I have the 6+ and the lowest storage so I agree I'd never update on a lower model phone.0 -
I like iTunes. I have been an iPhone guy since the 5 came out. My current phone is the 6S Plus, and it's cool, but when my gf got the Galaxy S7 Edge, I kinda liked it...so I bought a used one on Swappa. I keep going back and forth between them, but I'll be honest, I find myself liking the S7 better. I cannot believe I am actually saying that because I was an Android hater.
I just watched something about iOS 10 yesterday and they said it is supposed to make the phone seem faster! Maybe it is because you are maxed out on storage? That will do it...
I never use iTunes, is there something different about it? I used to use Apple Music just for T-Swift (; but I avoid iTunes at all costs.0 -

They added a music pruning feature that removes songs you don't play often to help free up space. Never tried it and I would assume you need the iCloud/match music service.

Gotcha. Yeah, I also avoid "The Cloud" at all costs, too. I'm still an old lady at 26.0 -

I would also add, to me it seems they really improved the display graphics in some way, though I haven't seen anything in technical reviews that indicate they did. All my photos and the graphics on the phone (seem to) have better color and clarity.1

Ok, I'll say it. So far Apple is just playing catch up with Samsung. Full disclosure: I hate iTunes.
Also I had an iPhone 3 and after 2 years could no longer update it, nor did most of my apps work after they where "updated". Apple literally made a device that forces you to upgrade every 2 years. And for that I will never go back. My iPhone 3 still works, but I can't load anything on it because iTunes doesn't work with it now.0 -
I still have the OS from when I originally bought my phone. I'm not good at technology.
I have to wait to order a 7 too, cause I have an employee line.
Basically, y'all are way smarter & savvier than me. And have cooler phones.0 -

They may force us to upgrade, but I've yet to have a phone go :BOOM:!0 -

I have to support all smartphones, computers, networks etc. for work so I have to be updated on the latest everything and have older things around for testing too. Oddly though, I hate technology, overall at least. I drive people nuts because they text and call and I rarely answer. Only things I do a lot of is Instagram, because I am a photo guy.

I don't know why this reminded me of this movie.

I've been an iPhone guy since the 3G. A few generations ago I decided to switch it up and try a Samsung Galaxy (S something). I traded in my iPhone and really gave it two solid weeks of trying to love that phone. People said that they were so much more customize-able and more suited for techie folks. I'm a network engineer and love my electronics. What I found is that while the phone was highly customizeable, I spent more time rebooting the damned thing than actually using it. On top of that, the simple things that I needed to be spot on and reliable, like email and messaging, were less convenient. For example, instead of having a central email app where you could check and reply from multiple accounts, you had to download a special app for every client (gmail, yahoo, etc..) Further more I was always wondering if I was missing emails since they were distributed on different apps. Long story short, I returned it and got an iPhone. I think it just depends on how you're used to using your phone.0

My voicemail has been 100% full for 6 months.
