I'm looking for information from those who are more knowledgable about nutrition and sports training. What kid friendly meal should I feed my 11 year old before her state soccer tryout tonight?
Due to drive time to get to the field, she will likely eat at 4pm for a tryout from 7pm-10pm.

Peanut butter on whole wheat toast, an apple and a huge glass of water.0

Bananas, Greek yogurt, Oats, (Grilled Chicken Brocolli) and sweet potatoes. The whole grain bread, dry fruits or trail mix. The short list of foods covers easy digestible pre-workout snacks and a meal in brackets. I hope it was helpful0
