    I think selfies are difficult. A smile looks forced (because effectively you're smiling at yourself) so women tend to pout instead which I agree looks forced too but if it makes people feel good about themselves who are we to judge?

    Lol, likely because when one pouts their lips, their cheeks come in giving a visual of looking leaner. And of course looking leaner for a picture is desired.

    I'm terrible for duck facing - looks leaner and as Niner rightly says, a smile often looks too forced in a selfie!

    You guys are right. I try to take a selfie without smiling and I just look like I am not expressing any emotion. I try to smile and I just look like a weirdo (or an alien).

    I would probably wear cargo shorts and flip flops but I am too damn short, they look more like capri's. Manpri's wow, that is a whole other topic....

    Because they're comfortable and functional. I'm not a dude, but I have a pair of cargos that I absolutely adore! I often miss the memo on how function isn't fashionable. I'm also one to wear socks with sandals on occasion, it feels so good!

    You won't find me in duck face anywhere, though - just looks ridiculous. I went through a friend's pics once, every single one is DF - why do that to yourself? My trick to pictures is to think of something funny and take the pic as I'm about to laugh.
