Looking for some help with accountability

Hi,
I'm a wife, a mom to 3 and... I'm in serious need of a lifestyle change. I'm looking for some people who wouldn't mind adding me as a friend and help me keep on track.
After some medical concerns I've found out that at 36 I already need to seriously reduce my cholesterol. Turns out my genes are horrid and my relationship with food is even worse.
I'm here to help as well so if you're interested in helping with motivation and are looking for the same please let me know and feel free to add me

Hi
In my opinion, the first thing you should work on here is your relationship with food. You need to sit down and ask yourself what you use food as - is it fuel or is it comfort? Once you determine your relationship with food, it'll be easier to begin the weight loss process. I had a terrible relationship with food - I would regularly binge eat because I felt like it would fill some kind of void. I sought professional help to deal with my attachment to food issues and I dug deep and found out WHY I put so much emphasis on eating. It helped me lose my excess weight, that's for sure. Just a suggestion.

Firstly, welcome the the MyFitnessPal community!
The above advice is fantastic in my opinion - spot on!
If you want this lifestyle change enough, you can do it - see this as the start to the rest of your life, not simply a diet.
All the very best.
