Can you eat to much lean protein?
I always seem to eat to much.
I'm 5'7 /43 female. Current weight 227.00.
I'm doing 1200 calories a day.

The goal is 1 gram of protein x 1 lb. of bodyweight (typically)
That means you could eat up to (and over) 227 grams of protein which is near, if not, impossible at 1,200 calories. You're fine! I have a kidney disorder and still eat 120-140 grams x day (at 115 lbs.) Most people don't need to consume this much protein, but I'm just making the point that you are okay! Protein is good!2 -
How many grams of protein are you eating?1

2 egg whites/1 whole egg
1 cup cottage cheese
4 oz chicken

You should roughly double your intake of protein.0

You want her to get 47% of her calories from protein? That's excessive.
Edited: Just realized that she's on 1200 cals/day weighing 227 pounds. That has *got* to be too low.0 -
OP i don't think you're getting enough protein. You are nowhere near eating too much.0
