Hi, Ive tried so many different ways to lose weight over the last couple of years but seem to be getting nowhere. Im hoping fitness pal will be the one to change the never ending battle... Id love to have a few friends to share the journey with and maybe to help each other succeed? I look forward to hearing from you.. :-)

Before I joined MFP - You name the diet, I would have tried it. Nothing clicked for me.
MFP took the complexity out of weight loss and taught me that it doesn't have to be difficult and it doesn't have to be stressful. If you enter your stats in to the app, it'll give you a calorie goal. Eat to that allowance and you'll lose weight. It really is as simple and as straight forward as that.
There are some people here who track the individual macro's and who are on certain 'plans' (Such as high carb, low fat, 5:2 etc etc - to name a few) but they are just different versions of 'calories in, calories out' when it comes down to it. Don't over complicate things at this stage. I promise you'll get there.0
