I hear if you watch your calorie intake in the long run it won't help losing weight because your body gets used to it? Also i want to lose weight but do it where i can stick with it does anyone have any tips besides completely cutting a lot of calories? Which I'm doing for now

No, your body doesn't "get used to it".
What does happen, however, is that as you lose weight, you need fewer calories. But some people don't make that adjustment.3 -

THIS.
That said, counting macros (proteins, fats and carbs) has been a game changer for many and one I find makes life much simpler and more enjoyable without burnout. But there's as many ways of going at this as there are members of this community, so it really boils down to what you like and what YOU feel you can manage in a real-worldlifestyle. It may take trial and error, but stick to it and you'll get there.2 -

This. Your body needs less energy to maintain itself so you have to eat less. You don't have to cut a lot of calories. Start with maybe 200 calories and then gradually taper down.1
