Starting my journey

Hello, I would like to introduce myself, I'm a 54 year old woman, dealing with being morbidly overweight for the past 20 years. In the past I have been able to lose weight, at the most 60 pounds, but I always gain it back. I joined my fitness pal and got a Fitbit because I'm tired of being known as the fat one. So far I have been motivated and in the past 1 1/2 months I have lost 15lbs. However for some reason I have stopped losing weight, still eating right and exercising, I can feel the frustration setting in and don't want it to overwhelm me, the chips are calling my name. I'm just looking for people who are like me and some help and motivation to keep going. All of my friends and family are in great shape and can't relate to what I'm going through. Anyway I thought I would give this a try and see if it helps me push through this funk I'm in. Thanks

Weight loss isn't linear. Sometimes our losses stall and sometimes we gain a few lbs back out of nowhere, so it's just a case of trusting the process and battling through the moments when our bodies are being obnoxious.

Double check your logging, though. You might be forgetting to log things that seem insignificant but add up over the week. And double check you're using accurate entries. If you're logging properly, the best thing to do is be patient.
