Please tell me it's going to get better!!! ):

I had knee surgery in February and rehab has gone well and I have been released to exercise and workout but I'm still really frustrated and just need someone who has maybe been through something similar to tell me I'm at some point going to feel normal again!!!! I can handle the muscle soreness from exercising and know that I will probably always have that (at least as long as I am pushing myself) but what's frustrating me now is two things: (1) my IT band/hamstring/quad tightness is just causing me such discomfort and therefore knee pain. It's not horrible and it really isn't even all that bad while I'm exercising, it's after sitting and trying to stand up that I feel like I can barely walk, getting out of the car, etc. Is this going to get better? I have been doing stretching and exercises specifically for my IT band and glutes to strengthen them and I guess it's just going to take time but I'm finding myself getting really frustrated; and (2) dealing with this case of plantar fasciitis that I have. I have good days and bad days and for the most part it's tolerable, but between that and my knee I feel like most of the day I hobble around like a super old person!!!! On top of all that, I feel like I'm just not losing the weight that I feel like I should be losing and I'm just not sure what I'm doing wrong. I exercise 6 days a week and count calories here on MFP but I'm just not seeing the scales move. Ugh!!!!!!

Anyway, I guess I'm just venting, but really would love to hear from anyone who has struggled with something similar and how you got to the other side of it! Thanks so much!!!!
