Finally Fixing My Health

And got directed here.
My journey is the same as many, I'm sure: Let myself get further and further out of shape until I finally got my wakeup call this past June. Fortunately, mine wasn't dangerous, just a corporate retreat with a lot of physical activity that left me hurting for days. I knew it shouldn't have done that, so I began working on it low and slow, building up a bit at a time until I could finally reach a respectable workout.
I've still got a ways to go on that, though. I'm up to two miles biking every morning (hey, I prefer low impact, and if I am dealing with impact while biking, I'm doing it wrong!), and a little over 15 minutes of actual strength training every other day. Wanting to get to 5 miles, and 30 minutes of strength training.
Anyway, I got directed to MFP by some work friends, and it helped open my eyes. I put in my stats, and was shocked to find out how much I was eating without even thinking about it. Since then, I've added Runtastic (great for tracking bike rides), Google Fit (with a smartwatch, tracks my walking), and have both of them syncing up with MFP.
Any other tools I should be looking at? Any tips to share? Anybody needing a cheering buddy for their news feed? Let me know, I'm up for trying most anything, especially if it'll help drop the weight I know I need to lose or help somebody else keep at it.
