6-7 hrs sleep is deemed good enough!

If I'm off that day and have no plans I can sleep for 11-12 hours without that too-much-sleep-hangover feeling...but I will definitely need coffee asap :p

My bed is calling my name now. I hope for a good 8-9 hours of good uninterrupted sleep.

Before I got CFS (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome), I'd say that "I'll sleep, when I am dead"; which meant 2 hours for approximately 2 years when I was 12 & 13 years old & 6 to 8 before that. After getting CFS, it's been a maximum of 20 hours (very rarely) & a minimum of 10 (somewhat rarely) but mostly 12 to 16. Most of it's napping throughout the day, since I have to eat every few hours because of my hypoglycemia; I'm unable to sleep for 4 to 6 hours straight.

I caught Eptstein-Barr in college and I've wondered if I've developed CFS as a result.

I am very sorry that you did. CFS occurs differently for some people & the same goes for severity/recovery. I had a severe flu, that was 10 days & it hospitalized me. It weakened me to the point, that I never recovered; my previous energy regeneration. I was 14 years old & going through puberty, which ceased; for 2 years. That was approximately 22 years ago.

I got Epstein Barr a couple of years ago. It set of fibromyalgia in me. New research is linking viruses to CFS, fibro and other auto immune conditions.
