Need suggestions for low-carb vegan recipes

Hello! I am vegan and have been following the "No Meat Athlete" weight loss plan. Unfortunately, it is not working for me and I think it is because there are too many carbs.
I need some good recipes for low carb, vegan meals. Most of what I find when I search the web are tofu and broccoli. I like those, it 's just that I need some variety!
Does anyone have any good ideas? Thank you!

Are you able to elaborate on what about it is not working for you? Are you not losing weight at the expected rate or something else?0

You're carbs are going to be higher if you don't eat meat. Just try and eat healthier carbs like quinoa, brown rice, veggies, tofu, seitan, tempeh0

I am 57 years old, so I am menopausal. (sorry, I hope that's not TMI) My weight keeps sneaking up, even though I eat clean (completely plant based) and I exercise (boot camp) a minimum of three times a week. The only thing I can think of is that I have over 50% of my nutritional day goes to carbs.0

Are you weighing and logging everything you eat? When it comes to weight loss, carbs and eating plant-based foods don't make a difference. What matters is whether you are eating fewer calories than you burn.
I eat entirely plant based and eat a ton of carbs. This works well for me. I'm sure that there are people out there who eat low carb vegan but I imagine it would be challenging.
If you don't like the way carbs make you feel (this is a very real thing for many people), then I'd encourage you to explore low carb options. Unfortunately I can't be much help for that! I think some people suggested some groups in the other LC vegan thread.
BUT if you just want to cut carbs because you think they're making you gain weight, then that isn't true and there's no reason to do so. Figure out your calorie goal with MFP, weigh and log your food, be patient, and go from there
Best of luck!1 -
Carbs don't make you gain weight. Too many calories makes you gain weight.1

Don't apologize for saying you're menopausal.
Try kaylin's kitchen (vegetarian, you can tweak)

Diet doctor.com has a vegetarian section that I bet you can tweak.

I'm menopausal as well, and KNOW that insulin resistance is a very real thing in menopause, so lowering your carbs a bit can't hurt. It might be what your body needs right now.
Good luck!3
