Urgh ate over my calories today not sure by how much .. Did great for geek fast and lunch but I had a birthday party to attend today ,, my first bad day in 11 days

    Take it one day at a time. Life happens and is not perfect.
    Pick yourself up, dust yourself off and go back to your nutrition plan. Use food scale, weigh everything yo eat at home and eyeball weight of food eaten outside home, Log all your food at MFP

    when I know I will have an event where I may overeat I try to prepare:
    a) Exercise more to burn more calories prior to event so I am still on deficit
    b) search for least caloric option available at such event (i.e Birthday party, I will have coffee black, no cream, no sugar, lots of plain water or tea without sugar and finally I ask for a smaller portion of birthday cake or take it home)
    c) If all fails, I declare myself on Maintenance that day and I will not have a calorie deficit. Hey, It is not the end of the world. Slow and steady wins the race
