Been stuck at 180-181lbs for about 3 months..finally decided to suck it up and go from just 3700-3900 to 4300+ calories a day for the past month and still the scales not moving
Looking a little more swole but so is the waist unfortunately... Must be the 450-500 grams of carbs a day lol! Any ideas? Should I keep waiting? I Dont see myself eating 4500 or more a day without being miserable

Well you can add more fats and less carbs if you want to deplete glycogen a bit. But you are bukking so fat gain is going to occur which means fat gains around the waist.0

Going from 3700 to 4300+ is a massive increase in calories. Enough to gain an additional 1.1lbs a week. I suggest smaller increases (100-250 cals) per day when your weight stalls.2

Yeah, jumping an immediate 6-900 calories a day when you're previously metabolizing a plateau is a boatload of additional calories to dump all at once. "Reverse Diet" of 100-200 or so more calories per day for a week, then remeasuring, might help you push toward those swole goals?0

so the scale is not moving after increasing 500 calories a day, but your waist is bigger????0

Well the scale is consistently reading 3lbs heavy today but still maybe water weight..hopefully not0
