Ever tried a quality probiotic that will help break down candida in your gut? I have always had a sweet tooth, then I Googled candida and researched the link between cravings and gut health. Message me to find out more.1

It depends on what kind of food you are wanting to eat and what kind of things you like. I love the fall flavor so I am trying a lot of pumpkin recipes and apple cinnamon flavors. Get on Pinterest and look up healthy swaps for your favorite deserts. There is a recipe out there for Weight watchers pumpkin fluff ( and all flavors of fluff) that I like.3

Stop eating sweets if eating sweets make you crave them more. If you are craving junk because you are eating poorly, focus on getting in better nutrition. There are no magical recipes.2

that was awesome comment and I'm not eating sweets or junk like you said. But I crave something sweet I always did. Btw where's the magical recipe.0

I'm afraid that is all that worked for me too. Cutting sweets entirely, and my carb level, was the only thing that helped with my sweets cravings.2

I also have a sweet tooth - especially for ice cream. I try and fit it into my macros for the day if I can. If I can't, I'll make fake ice cream.
I saw it on bodybuilding, and honestly, it's been a lifesaver. I can have this every day for dessert, and then save ice cream for my high carb day.
4 oz. cottage cheese
1/4 cup milk (I choose almond because I'm slightly lactose intolerant)
1 tbsp unsweetened cacao powder
1 packet truvia
I blend all the ingredients until smooth, then pour into a bowl and cover. Put in the freezer for 60-90 minutes, then take it out and enjoy. It's like malty chocolatey soft serve, and you would never guess it was cottage cheese.
@jessica561 - check out the Recipe thread on MFP for more recipes/inspiration.1 -
Once I reduced baked goods and increased fruit, protein, and fiber, I stopped craving sweets.
I do have a small amount of high quality chocolate after dinner.1 -
Are you wanting to cut sweets forever? OR is this a temporary change while you lose weight?
You can eliminate OR manage. I don't eliminate because that would be a temporary change for me. Temporary helps me lose weight, but it doesn't help me maintain. I allow myself something sweet everyday.1 -
@TeaBea Definitely manage. i just want to try new things besides fruits & protein bars which i been eating sometimes for a sweet taste.
@wishfuljune
