Dear Aft85, I feel your frustration. It is hard to change your eating habits and doubly hard when nothing seems to be happening. I have found when I have a few weeks of very little loss and feel frustrated that it is often my body reshuffling the weight. Then I will notice my hips are a bit smaller and my face isn't so gaunt looking. It can also be water or your body is not moving things through quickly enough... Sorry for the ick factor. Don't give up. It will start to come off again. I too hate using the scale but it is also true that weighing and logging have been the most help for me. It keeps me honest. I also walk. In the beginning I walked to lose weight but now I look forward to it because it lifts my spirits. I don't know where you are living but if there is somewhere beautiful get out and get some air; if not the mall works too. It reduces stress and gives you something to do rather than white knuckling it around the kitchen. Trust me you will lose again. Log your food every day. I log everything even though it takes time. I have learned some shocking things by logging everything I eat like M&M peanut candies are 10 calories each! Who only eats one? Ten candies are 100 calories! Anyway kiddo, keep your chin up and don't quit. We are all here for you.
