I always found the Heimlich worked better when, as you were thrusting, you reached up to the base of the hair and pulled back with one hand to make sure the airways remained clear.
Some slow thrusts followed by some rapid ones, IMO, allow anything plugging up the hole to release itself

i like different consistency to my dips, there are those that liked to be run across your lips; some are tart with a big pucker factor; others are thick, engorged with flavor and beg to be tasted, i even like the marinara dips.
